Once I'm sure they've had a chance to enjoy their gallery, share images, and order any prints I know they're excited about, I send a final questionnaire asking how their experience was. I'm a reflective person, so I like to know the things I did well and the things I can improve. I also ask for a review and give them easy links to do so on Google and Facebook!
You want to answer your client's questions before they even have them. In my thank you email I remind them when their gallery will be ready, what they can do with it, and show my appreciation.
Once your client has signed their contract and paid their deposit, I have a series of prep emails I send so they can go in to their session confidently prepared.
It's no secret, if we have a question, we want answers and we want them fast - and our clients are no different. That's why I have a friendly introductory email scheduled to send the minute someone submits my contact form.
