I love when I show up to a session and I just click with the family. That’s exactly what happened with the Andersons! We had to reschedule our original date because of rain, and I didn’t find out till we got there that their son had just gotten his eye irritated! Even with that, we made the best of the situation! Sweet little Walker is 2 and boy did he keep us on our toes!
In her intro questionnaire Olivia warned me that he mean mugs and uses them as a human jungle gym, but boy did it make for some good pictures!
One thing I love about Widgeon Point Preserve is that we get to “explore” during the session. It’s the best way that I get to keep kids engaged. Also, there are lots of rocks. And kids, especially boys, love rocks for some reason.
Widgeon Point has a touch of the lowcountry with marshes, oaks, palms, and tall grasses! It’s the perfect balance.
I got Olivia back in my studio for some maternity pictures, and I can’t wait for her newborn session!
